Continuing Professional Development

Optoelectronics College CPD workshops introduce teachers to the innovative teaching resources and apparatus developed for the three themes.  Schools represented for the first time at a workshop on one of the themes are supplied with a class kit of apparatus for that theme, worth several hundreds of pounds, and provided thanks to funding from our sponsors.

The Scottish Government has funded the Association for Science Education Scotland to deliver Optoelectronics College CPD workshops between September 2010 and March 2011.  Eighty kits of apparatus will be available.  Events are planned for:

Illumination and Communication at ASE/IOP Supporting Science in the North in Fortrose, 6 Nov 2010
